What happened last week.

A strong impulse movement broke through the ascending trend line, formed a low and made an upward correction the next day.

Tested the trend line and remained below it.

According to the Victor Sperandeo method, updating the low, which is marked on the chart, we will have a medium-term reversal model formed.

Cancellation of this scenario - the price returns to the ascending movement and breaks the trend line in the opposite direction.

It is clearly visible that the price of this instrument has broken through the historical maximum and has frozen above the level.

I do not think that this is a new high.

We can judge whether a high has been formed or not only by means of future small movements up or down.

There are no such movements now, therefore, we have no right to state the fact that we have a high.

Continuing.

We already understand that the high will be above the previous historical maximum, now we need to carefully look at where the low will be formed!!!

It is the low that will show whether there will be consolidation behind the broken historical maximum or we will observe a false breakout.

Structure break

Structure break should not be confused with trend break.

At first glance, these two completely different chart elements are very similar to each other, market participants set stop losses behind these chart elements.

However, these chart elements, for us, carry radically different information.

The next article will be about trend break.

Now we will talk about structure break.

Structure break is one of the elements of the price trend movement reversal model.

Structure break can be easily determined by applying structural analysis to the analyzed section of the chart.

So, to determine the structure break, we need to determine that we have this structure

The structure is formed in two stages:

1. Directly forming the structure.

2. Development of the structure.

Only then, when the structure is found, we look for or expect its break.

Structure formation is the first three movements in a new direction.

Structure development is an already formed trend, when there is a decrease in low and a decrease in high or an increase in high and an increase in low.

And here is the most interesting thing - a breakdown of the structure is a movement in a new direction, these are the first three movements in a new direction (formation of a new trend in a new direction).

The downward trend movement of the senior timeframe is still relevant.

Trend and its components (substructure or substructure).

So the trend movement meets two components of one condition of existence - this is the renewal of levels formed in the direction of the price movement and there is no renewal of levels formed as a result of the correction.

The trend movement can be downward, when there is a decrease in high and low, and also upward, when there is an increase in high and low.

This is how the trend movement looks like.

It is clearly visible that any trend movement consists of mandatory movements that replace one another.

Such small price movements are a substructure or substructure.

These are the elements of the trend necessary for any trend price movement, when the price moves in different directions.

These movements are trend movements of lower timeframes.

In a separate substructure, if it is considered on lower timeframes, these movements are trends that meet all the same conditions of the trend existence.

Chaos or a pattern of movement?

The price movement of any trading instrument is always chaos, which cannot be analyzed.

This is what any ignorant person will immediately say.

Nobody will say what character this or that price movement will have - will the trend movement be strong or weak, will it have large corrections or will it be impulsive.

We cannot say anything about the future trend movement of the price.

But, we can always say one thing with 100% certainty.

Always any trend movement of the price of any trading instrument begins and ends the same way.

According to the Chaos Theory, any chaos always begins the same way (has the same conditions for development).

If we consider not one trend movement, but several, for example, the current and previous, taking into account that each chaos (trend movement of the price) has the same conditions for the beginning, then we can say that any trend has the same conditions for the beginning and end.

On the chart it looks like this.

It is clearly seen that the beginning of any trend movement occurs after the breakout of one or two correction levels and in the same way any trend, for any trading instrument ends in the same way - with the breakout of one or two levels formed as a result of the correction.
